Welcome to The Maria Evans Academy Of Dance

The Maria Evans Academy is an extra curricular dance school based in Swansea, offering the highest quality training in I.S.T.D Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, and Hip/Hop. We have classes available for the very young - from the age of 3 years up to young adults.

Our aim is for each person the reach their full, individual potential in a well disciplined and professional school with a happy and freindly atmosphere.

Regular attendance is paramount for the advancement of the students training. All pupils are invited to take part in the bi-annual showcase and yearly examination sessions with the Imperial Society Of Teachers of dancing (London).

Pupils can also perform at dance festivals held locally in Swansea and also festivals held nationally, with semi-finals held in Paignton and finals held in London.

The Maria Evans Academy has consistently proved itself  for over 35 years of teaching and choreography to be amongst the best in the country picking up numerous awards, cups and medals.

After completing their training at The Maria Evans Academy (M.E.A.D) many pupils audition for vocational theatre colleges. We have  many former pupils who are now working professionally in the West End Theatres of London. Many pupils have also found a career teaching, at home and abroad.
